Sebastian studied economics in Marburg and subsequently completed his master's degree in "Money and Finance" in Frankfurt. Having always been interested in economics and finance, he initially chose asset management. Increasingly disillusioned with the financial industry and spurred on to use his knowledge for a fairer and more sustainable world, his path led him to Urgewald. Since April 2021, he has been supporting the research team with research for the Global Coal Exit List (GCEL).
His yoga mat provides him with a balance to his "daily research routine". He is also passionate about writing and can often be found with a book in his hand in Berlin cafés.
