As a biologist, working with Urgewald since 2001, Lydia Kroll concentrates above all on forest protection, international forest politics, pulpwood/paper and biological fuels. She was responsible for campaigns, investigations and publications in this sector. In Urgewald’s coal and divestment campaign, she coordinates research into the extensive, global coal data bank “Global Coal Exit List”, in which researchers from various countries participate. Endless Excel lists are now what she eats for breakfast and she keeps her cool, even when juggling hundreds of datasets! In her spare time, she can be found assembling St Martin’s Day lanterns with her children or going to Tango evenings.
