Fiona Hauke

Fiona has been part of the urgewald research team since mid-2021, where she is working on the Global Oil & Gas Exit List (GOGEL). In her political science and economics studies in Heidelberg, Lille and Potsdam, Fiona focused on international political economy. She is particularly interested in how (supposed) environmental norms emerge in the financial sector. Above all, the versatility of urgewald's data projects excites Fiona in her work. Seeing how persistent research makes an impact keeps her love for big data sets and Excel growing. In her free time, Fiona campaigns against conspiracy narratives, tries to grow vegetables on her balcony, sings in the choir, plays volleyball, and reads too much Twitter.
