Daria Vogel joined urgewald as a trainee in August 2022. She provides support in content management, which includes looking after the social media channels, creating digital content for websites and social media, and developing and supporting new digital formats.
Daria studied communication design with a focus on user experience design in her bachelor's degree and transformation design in her master's degree. The latter deals with the socio-ecological transformation of our society. In her studies, she already dealt with topics of sustainability, agriculture, alternative economies and with the extent to which design can support the transformation of society. For this, she has developed participatory projects using design theory and practices. In her jobs as an assistant researcher and working student, she has already gained experience in various areas of digital media.
Always being curious, questioning the status quo, being politically active and advocating for the planet and all living beings on it is very important to Daria. When she's not sitting in front of her Macbook dreaming up new creative formats and content, you can find her in her allotment, behind her camera, in the bouldering gym or in front of her stove while trying out a new delicious vegan dish.
