Wintershall Dea is the largest German oil and gas company. It produces crude oil and fossil gas, in Germany as well as abroad. The company is also active in gas transport and plans to expand its CO2 disposal business. The main shareholder, BASF, intends to sell Wintershall Dea once it has completely exited from the Russian business.
